About the Building
- Village Park is located in the picturesque brick and terra cotta St. Nicholas of Myra Church. This designated NYC Landmark Building shares its proud heritage with several NYC churches designed by famed architect James Renwick, including St. Patrick's Cathedral, Grace Church and St. Stephen's Church. For over 100 years, the church complex has been an East Village cornerstone of Gothic and Renaissance-style architecture.
The Village Park banquet hall has a separate elevator entrance on the Avenue A side of the building that is wheelchair accessible and ADA compliant.
Village Park Banquet Hall is located within St. Nicholas of Myra Orthodox Church, a NY landmark building. Village Park has its own private entrance on Avenue A with an elevator to take your guests to the main banquet hall.
A focal point of the banquet hall is the beautiful stage area. This area is the perfect location for musicians, audio-visual presentations, performances, or a dais for honored guests. A professional sound system is also available.

"Hidden" Food Prep PassthroughJust steps from the elevator is our food preparation area with a large counter and two separate sinks. A convenient access panel allows for quick service and busing that can be closed during the event.
Architectural DetailsThe main hall underwent an extensive renovation with attention paid to every detail - from a tri-level ceiling, exquisite moldings,and two kinds of recessed lighting to the beautifully restored hardwood floors in the main hall and Italian tile flooring by the bar area.
Bar AreaThe mirrored bar area is as beautiful as it is functional. There is a large sink and ice machine with ample marbled counter space to stock supplies, glasses, etc. as well as a large workspace for bar attendants.
Seating up to 200Hall rentals include tables (rectangular) and chairs for up to 200 guests. Padded oval-backed seats are a wine color. Two sizes of rectangle tables are available for greater flexibility. Round tables would require that you contract for rental and delivery by an outside vendor.
